Cinema Sleeps new album "Truth for the Seeker" comes out May 28 via Standby Records and we had the pleasure to review the upcoming release! Check it out below!
Cincinnati, OH Cinema Sleep writes music that makes you want to put down your sister’s eyeliner and rock out. Formed in early 2012 by five accomplished musicians, including Brady Reis (lead vocals), Alex Asch (lead guitar and keyboards), Ryan Meyers (bass guitar), Robert E. McDonald (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Kevin Vincent (drums). The band’s new album “Truth for the Seeker” comes out May 28 via Standby Records!
The albums opening track “Wildcard” is just one of the many songs that prove the album’s promises. The band is making a name for themselves and you can tell. The hardcore song writing and the catchy guitar riffs are perfect for windows down weather.
The songs all have a message and you can tell in Brady’s voice that the passion is real. The songs “Judging Glances”, “Wanted” and the ending track “Right Where You Belong” are just a few of the songs that you will be humming for the days to come. They didn’t hold back on this release which is obvious. The hard work and life experiences come to life on this release that is relatable in many ways. The song “Misprint” is proof.
Honestly, “Truth for the Seeker” is a fresh take that everyone needs to hear in this scene. No gimmicks, no cheesy breakdowns. pure emotion. These guys show promising creativity and maturity in this album. Regardless your choice of music this album is great listen for sure.
